Eufy X10 Pro Omni: A Real-World Test (And Two Caveats)
The Eufy X10 Pro Omni is the company's flagship mop-and-vacuum. After 90 days, it does the job, but with two caveats that don't appear in the marketing.
If your home is mostly hard floor, the X10 Pro Omni is a solid mid-tier pick.
+ What we liked
- ✓Mopping is genuinely competent on hard floor
- ✓Self-empty and self-wash dock is well-engineered
- ✓App is one of the cleaner ones in the category
− What could be better
- !Suction on rugs is markedly weaker than the Roborock equivalent
- !Mop pads need monthly hand-rinse despite the dock's wash cycle
- !Rare nav misses on dark rugs
The Eufy X10 Pro Omni shipped to genuine excitement and we've spent 90 days seeing if it earned the price. Short answer: yes, with two caveats. Here's the long answer.
What it's great at
Mopping. The pressurized mop heads scrub rather than just drag, and our hardwood test floor came out cleaner than we've ever seen from a robot. The dock's self-wash cycle is functional, and the dirty water tank fills predictably.
The two caveats
Suction on rugs is the first. We measured it at roughly 70% of the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra's pickup performance on our low-pile rug. That's the difference between "robot did its job" and "robot needs a follow-up by hand."
The second is mop pad maintenance. Despite the dock's self-wash cycle, our mop pads needed a hand-rinse with detergent every four to six weeks to fully de-funk. The dock washes pads but cannot bring them all the way back to fresh.
The bottom line
If your home is mostly hard floor, the X10 Pro Omni is a solid mid-tier pick that mops better than anything else in its price range. If you have meaningful rug coverage, the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the better all-around choice.

Skeptical reader here. Came in expecting to disagree. After three weeks of ownership, you nailed it.

Got mine six weeks ago. I'd echo all the pros and cons. The 'cons' are real but they're the right cons for the price.

I run a household with three kids and a dog. The 'long-term' part of this review is what I needed. Most reviews I read don't survive contact with a real family.

Six weeks of daily use here. Echoing the review — the build quality is genuinely good. One thing I'd add: the customer service was responsive when I needed a replacement part.

Came for the data; staying for the writing. Thanks for taking the time to do this right.

How does this compare to the older model from two years ago? Mine is still going strong and I'd hate to upgrade if it's a sidegrade.

Bought a used one off Marketplace based on this review. Working great, half the price.

Curious about your noise measurement methodology. dB readings vary a lot with mic placement.
