Anker Prime vs. UGREEN Nexode 100W: Which Multi-Port Charger Wins?
Two flagship 100W GaN chargers, three months of daily duty for a four-device travel kit. We measured every output and tested the heat curves. Here's the answer.
+ What we liked
- ✓Both deliver true 100W on a single port
- ✓Anker's 4-port distribution is more honest than the marketing suggests
- ✓Both run cooler than any 100W charger we tested in 2024
− What could be better
- !UGREEN's case has sharper edges and pocket-feels worse
- !Anker's app is unnecessary
If you're shopping a 100W multi-port GaN charger, you're choosing between two well-built options at very similar prices. After three months of daily duty for a real travel kit (laptop, phone, watch, headphones), here's the answer.
The rig
- Both chargers ran a 4-device load (laptop + phone + watch + headphones) for 90 days.
- Per-port wattage measured with a calibrated USB-C power analyzer.
- Surface temperature logged via IR gun every 15 minutes during full-load runs.
- Drop tested onto hardwood from 1 m, three times each.
What's the same
Both deliver true 100W on a single port. Both negotiate PD and PPS correctly with all our test devices. Both run cooler than any 100W charger we tested in 2024. Both have replaceable USB-C cables. Both are tiny.
What's different
The case feel. Anker's housing has rounder corners and pockets better. UGREEN's edges are sharper but the unit weighs ~10 g less. The included cables are functionally identical; both are 100W rated and both pass our tug tests.
The verdict
Buy whichever one is cheaper at checkout. There's no meaningful performance difference. If you can find them at the same price, the Anker has slightly better customer-service responsiveness based on our reader survey.

The 'what we'd skip' section is gold. Wish more reviewers were willing to call out duds.

Disagree slightly. Mine has been in the rotation for a year and the surface coating is starting to show wear. Worth knowing before you buy.

Mine arrived with a minor cosmetic defect. Took two emails but got a replacement, no return needed.
- Ines M.Mar 26, 2026, 5:48 AM★★★★★
Honest review, thank you. The price has come down ~$60 since launch and at this price it's genuinely a no-brainer.
- Tabitha S.Mar 27, 2026, 9:05 AM
Honest question — did you test in a small apartment? My main concern is footprint, and most reviews skip that.

Skeptical reader here. Came in expecting to disagree. After three weeks of ownership, you nailed it.
